PruningPruning

Knowing just how to properly prune a tree begins with knowledge of tree biology and physiology. Knowing when to prune a tree is also important. We prune only for a specific purpose, such as to remove dead, dying, diseased, crossing or rubbing branches; to reduce the height (although we never top trees); to raise the crown height; or to thin the crown. The saying goes, "A properly pruned tree is often a job unnoticed." That's the way we prune.

Cabling & BracingCabling & Bracing

Nearly all trees are beautiful, but some are not structurally sound. As narrowly forked branches grow, they compete for the same space, and the weaker one will eventually lose. Heavy limbs can be weak, and break under their own weight. We can save these beautiful trees from becoming eyesores simply by installing a support system consisting of steel rods through the weak forks and steel cables up in the crown.

Lightning ProtectionLightning Protection

Trees often tower above everything on a property, making them a lightning rod. We suggest protecting your valuable and special trees with a system of lighting rods and grounding cables.

Tree RemovalRemoval

Tree removal is our treatment of last resort. But, when a tree dies, is heavily damaged, or blocks views and causes accidents, removal is necessary. We are equipped to safety take down trees of any size in even the tightest location. This includes removal of the stump and renewal of the site.
